    Museum Puri Lukisan (Painting) located approximately 200 meters from Puri Saren, separated by a small valley, up to a vast plot of land with beautiful views. 
     The situation is quiet and away from the crowds is a good place for those who want to see and enjoy the art of the great artist like I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Ida Bagus Nyana, and Anak Agung Gde Sobrat, I Gusti Made Deblog, Mr. Rudolf Bonnet, Walter Spies and so forth.

      This museum opened in 1956 by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, Mr. Moh.Yamin. The museum is comprised of three U-shaped main building; in the middle of the park museum and pond with lotus flowers are beautiful. Building 1 is a permanent exhibition for the painting style puppets or wayang style, the paintings of I Gusti Nyoman Lempad and explanation of the existence of the Pita Maha organization. Building II also exhibits a permanent or fixed place of work of the painter or the stylish Young Artists Young Artist Style, works of Balinese-style Modern Traditional Style. III building, this building is for a temporary exhibition or Temporary Exhibition.
Museum run by the foundation Ratna Wartha is open every day from 08:00 to 16:00, and for them, or travelers who wish to visit the castle museum admission of this painting is 20,000 per person.
     Ubud in the village itself there is a Museum Puri Lukisan, but for the sub-region until the year 2003. Ubud is now a total of 4 (four) museum of painting, namely: museum Puri Lukisan, Neka  Museum, Arma Museum and the Museum Rudana. Ubud is famous as  a fantastic place for the artists to express their creative arts such as painting, sculpture, carving, dance, and so forth. Many foreigners also studied art in this area.
